DevelopmentScholarships/Financial Aid

Since 1989, when the first scholarship was endowed, until present, the children of SAS have benefited through the generosity of the endowers.  Those students who otherwise might not have been able to attend a Catholic school, have been and are part of the St. Aloysius family.  This school has been blessed in many ways, and one of the most special is the availability of scholarships made possible by those that believe in Catholic education and St. Aloysius School.  Every year, St. Aloysius School awards over fifty need-based scholarships.  Need is always the prime determinant for selection.  Other criteria considered in selection are good character, satisfactory achievement, and activities.  Four scholarships are designated for minority students.  Scholarships awards range in value from $500 to full tuition.   All submitted information remains confidential. A scholarship selection committee meets to determine recipients.  To be considered, a student must be an enrolled kindergartner through eighth grader for the year applying for assistance.  Notifications will be sent out to applicants in early March.
