Welcome to the St. Aloysius Choir and Drama Website.

We hope that this site is a useful resource for current students, parents, alumni, community members and prospective students. We offer a  tradition of excellence that you will find as you explore this website.

There are many reasons for this success: supportive administration, excellent facilities and a fantastic elementary and middle school music curriculum but what really makes the choirs and drama program special are the talented, devoted students and their incredibly supportive parents.

The mission of the St. Aloysius Music Department is to nurture and inspire student achievement through quality music education through the pursuit of artistic excellence in choral music and drama performances beginning with a foundation in elementary school.

Beth Bordelon

The first month of school has been very exciting for the St. Aloysius Performance Choir. We had the honor of being asked to sing for the Ecumenical Prayer Service for Former Governor Kathleen Blanco at St. Joseph Cathedral on August 22.

Last week was filled with auditions for this fall's musical - GODSPELL. It was truly a fantastic week, filled with outstanding talent.

Congratulations on your hard work and preparation. Here is the cast list for the first four scenes, solos, as well as the production staff.  Each of you will be in 2 other scenes not counting musical numbers.
